Hey hi everyone! Wanted to drop you a little advanced notice of something fun coming soon to a rp near you.

The anniversary of the end of the war is coming up next month. To mark the occasion, and as a sign of solidarity between Rozzaria, Dalmasca and Archadia, Queen Ashe is hosting a public fête. On the honored guests list is included the young Emperor Larsa, Prince Al-Cid Margrace, and Marquis Halim Ondore IV. It's a star-studded event that no one should miss!

In particular, the main fête will be held just outside the gates of royal palace in Rabanastre. There will be music, entertainment and grand banquet tables, with an open invitation to everyone that's in the area to attend. The queen and her guests will be putting in a nominal appearance to the mass crowds that are expected to attend. Rest assured though, the guards will be doubled, tripled even, to ensure the safety and protection of the royal residence.

A smaller secondary party will be held within for the close friends and acquaintances of the royals in attendance. People probably will hear that it's going on and likely speculating about how much politicking is going on behind closed doors. Rampant speculation in the streets too that the queen is finally making up her mind about a second marriage. (And it's about time!) Whatever's going on inside the palace while the party is on outside isn't just fodder for streetears and gossips. It'll have a lasting effect that will start to show up in March.

So! Everyone get your party shoes on and be ready to join the crowds. Feel free to speculate amongst yourselves ICly before, during, and after the big celebration. The fête will be held on February 7th.

You could always say the TAY kids made him do it? If that would work. I can see Ceodore wanting to include him in things and Ursula would support it.

That works for me! He's so difficult that I need to make sure he gets pestered into it. Or guilt-tripped if it comes to that.

Yeah Ceo would want to try to include him. Optionally, Penelo could try to guilt him into it. Or bribe with a chance to play with her pets.

Yay, good boy, Ceo! Drag your dad's stupid antisocial BFF into things. Also, either or maybe even both of them work? Since if he's getting nagged from all corners, the kids and Penny and the dragons... that ought to get him going! XD

He'll be like "dude, you know how this works. You get your best armor, make sure it's polished, be polite to the ladies, blah blah blah." It's like a male rite of passage, suffering through celebrations while the women flutter about being pretty and flirty.

Yes, good plan remind him of that! Even if Kain will be the most reluctant ever... he hated these things back in Baron too, when it was a requirement to go. Though of course back there he would give in and go in hopes of a dance with Rosa...
