Hello everyone!! I'm Jenna, I'm sure that I've run into a good number of people here from various RPs throughout the years so to you I bid a HELLO and to all new faces I have yet to run into... ALSO HELLO! I've brought in Aerith Gainsborough of Final Fantasy VII fame here with me to the game! She is coming in just pre-death. Like we are talking seconds away! She might even have a slight penetrating wound on her back it was that close, because I am a bad person! :3c

And guess what! As an added bang for you buck, she also knows a little bit about you Dissidia folk. That's right, she might not have had a corporeal form in the war, but maybe this fresh-faced spectre saved you from a death blow once or twice? Perhaps you saw her show up out of nowhere in a battle where you watched a friend fight for their life, only to disappear immediately? And for some reason you warriors are looking kind of familiar to her, too...! Hmm.

For contact / plotting purposes I can be reached either by PMs (aerith's journal here is fine for that!) or on plurk at [plurk.com profile] bevelle. I tend not to sign on AIM too often, but if that's your preference just let me know and I can be there too over at high summon!

I admit I'm not 100% familiar with the game setting (I fail at tactical games and my copy of FFXII was scratched... sob) so please bear with me while I familiarize myself!! Also I am in the process of canon-reviewing a few of the FFVII games as well so if I mess up some details here or there please give me a poke in the right direction...! THAT BEING SAID, I am very excite to finally be able to play in an FF game /banshee scree, etc etc...

Hello Everyone!

I'm Ryn, and although I wasn't a part of TnT, I do recognize a good number of you from other games we've been in together or for other nefarious reasons (like friendship -- I'm looking at you Tai). Contact wise I can be found through PM, [personal profile] efflorescence, or AIM at "ravishingreverie".

I'm bringing with me Selphie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy VIII, the game with sorceresses, weird time travel and aliens for some god forsaken reason. Selphie's the spunky one who is going to be a little to pleased at her job assignment and may or may not use her ninja skills for less than professional reasons. I apologize to anyone she decides to pest, but honestly she's pretty awesome at the end of the day. I don't have any special plans with her yet, but I look forward to everything this game has got to offer!

I've never really been good at this intro thing, so instead I'll depart without making this overly long, and see about hitting up that CR meme I saw was up. A plan!

Greetings and salutations, I'm Korik and I'll be playing FFXII's end game boss (in the gauntlet string, of course, because it's a FF game) and amiable political snake who has a propensity for being extremely careful with whom he allows near his brother, aka the current Lord Emperor Larsa Ferrinas Solidor just don't expect him to really own up to this extremely distant sort of brotherly love, he's not good with personal feelings and has a smidgen of complexes that keep him distant. Alas, Vayne has none of his end game nethicite inflicted hulk-out powers, nor even his old contacts (looking at you old Gabs), but what he does have on top of being silver tongued and highly observant is a stubborn desire to see his world, his people, his family, secure. He didn't get blown up for nothing, damnit or wage war on Gods, pick a fight with neighboring nations - yeah yeah.

I apologize in advance while I meander on DW to get my bearings, I was actually on LJ when the great turnover happened several years ago and moved Vayne here but never quite continued with him in this setting. As such, most of my play with him has been rather free form (I've got a version of him on tumblr) and  so I've got a bit of work in trimming down the unnecessary bits. All in all, I hope to provide a pleasant experience and feel free to hit me up on Skype or Plurk @ iceyarticuno, I tend to keep to myself but with some prodding I'm more than happy to talk and give support.

Hi all! I'm Crin. Some of you might vaugely remember me from TnT when I was there, and I'm bringing in Gabranth (the Noah one) from both FFXII and Dissidia Canon (no former game history, sorry guys.)

He is less than happy to be revived back to life (Damn it, Ajora) and would much prefer if you had just left him in his little Nightmare Hell realm in the Gods War, kthanx. There isn't a place he quite hates more than Ivalice at the moment, so I am excited to have him around and miserable.

But yeah! Please feel free to add me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] crincakes

I'm rather late in doing this, but I've been distracted in RL. But better late than never eh?

So, hello~ I'm Miri and I'm dragging in Sephiroth. He's from Crisis core originally before he'd gotten sucked into Time and Tides, and he's been there for the past near five years. Which really he's actually grateful for given how he heard his future would have gone had he not been taken away from his home planet.

Due to events within TnT, he ended up gaining a wing and coming to face and put the majority of his monster issues to rest. Though due to age and the wing, I wouldn't be surprised if some mistook him for his Advent Children/Dissidia self at first glance. Upon closer look people might realize he's not as creepy/pale as he is in AC/Dis. Also helping to shunt that aside will be the fact he's not coming in in full uniform.

The only thing he has from his previous uniform is the long black leather coat. He also still carries Masamune within said coat. Beneath the coat he'll be wearing dark brown leather calf boots, leather pants of similar color and a white shirt that laces half way down the front.

Given he has knowledge of the world here thanks to prior CR with the FFXII cast, this should be rather interesting for him. Getting to actually see the world he was told of, though he'll be moderately disappointed I suspect that certain NPCs/Cast don't remember him from Gaia.

Hello all! My name's Tai, and I think I know most of you already - and therefore most of you know how terrible I can be :D But for those of you new to me, hello, welcome, and all that good stuff! I laugh when I cause pain.

Not that you'd know that by who I'm bringing in - we've got a twofer now, as I'm showing up with Tidus of blitzballing fame and Rinoa Heartilly, who got possessed and jumped out into space. One of them will be intro'd tomorrow, the other the day after, and both of them are going to have nasty fiends following them into Ivalice. At least Rinoa gets her faithful dog!

A note on Tidus: he's got Dissidia canon, but in a very immediate way - he's coming from the end of Dissidia, meaning he's still suffering the overall memory loss and won't know canonmates right away. So, Firion, Squall, he's gonna be looking for you because that's what bros do. His canon memories will come back, of course, but it's gonna be a bit of a slow process depending on what triggers jump up to jog his memory. Little help here, Yuna!

Wonderful to meet you all if we haven't met already, and wonderful to be playing with everyone again! You can find me by PMing me through either journal or plurking me at otteratplay. Let's GO!

Hi guys! Candace here. Because I couldn't resist, I'm bringing in my second character, Ramza Beoulve from Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. My character choices right now all seem to be from 1997 PS1 games, idek.

Since FFT is one of the more obscure entries to the series, I'll try to summarise for those who haven't played. All you really need to know is that Ramza hails from the same Ivalice as Concordance's setting, but about twelve centuries in the future, where things are very different and the world is in a medieval feudal period. Ivalice is united under one monarch, but infighting over the throne leads to the War of the Lions, comparable to England's War of the Roses.

Ramza is a knight apprentice from the prestigious House Beoulve, but he becomes disillusioned with the corruption he witnesses within the nobility, leading him to cast aside his life as a noble to walk his own path. He unearths a huge conspiracy in the Church, and as a consequence is branded a religious heretic hunted by Church authorities. GOOD TIMES. The rest is some major plot spoilers, but needless to say, he's going to be very confused by how different Ivalice is here.

Looking forward to tossing him in!

*leotard, it's a leotard.

Look at me breaking trends, so badass. Ahem! Hi, I'm Jinx - some of you might weirdly know me as CorsetJinx, but let's stick with Jinx? Sounds great right? Right. Anyway, so Lisa dragged me here by dangling the adorable FFIV cast in my face - and then I saw Lumina and everyone else... I'm so easy. Anyway, I finished XII like... last year? Great fun, and that's really all I know about the world of Ivalice. Umm, for the most part that's kind of it, so let's get on to the more important things -

I present that green haired summoner from FFIV, Rydia. I've taken her from the end of TAY, even though I still feel weird about the way it all turned out, but whatever. Normally I take her from Part One of the end, but for reasons I chose otherwise this time. Anyway! For the greater joy, here is her app. Have fun reading that dry thing! The short and sweet of it is Rydia's a special child from FFIV, the last pure blooded Summoner from Mist - assuming that their isolated village worked in the way that most did once upon a time ago with lots of breeding within one group of families, etc. that isn't canonly stated, but yeah. I can ramble about this forever. So back to topic, she lost her family, was swallowed up by a monster, raised by said monster, returns as an adult to help save the world. That's that.

Uhhh, you can add me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] burialapplicant.

Ugh that's all for now? I am really bad at this.

Hello, all! For those who I don't already know, my name is pickle and I'll be playing Firion here, from that FF game we don't like to talk about because it was awful. He has Dissidia canon but he won't be recalling it clearly initially, less for IC reasons and more because I'm never entirely sure what to do with it at first OOCly.

For those of you who aren't familiar with FFII, it's a game about an angry virgin becoming stronger by punching himself and his siblings in the face and then healing it 500 times before stripping naked and equipping two shields. Also a lot of people die, he gets seduced by a snake lady and you can turn the final boss into a frog with a bug. There aren't nearly as many roses as Dissidia would imply.

If you need to reach me, feel free to PM this journal or grab me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] oglops !

And one last thing, a request. If anyone's coming in with game memories that include CR with Firion, I'd appreciate it if they could drop me a line first! I don't mind people keeping it, but I'd like to discuss it.

Hello hello! There are some familiar faces around from the good old TNT days, but for those who remember I am Espo, who played... much more together characters than this (arguably in Quina's sake. Who knows). For those I haven't played with before, it's nice to meet you! If you like, you can totally add me on plurk over at [plurk.com profile] radically. You can also try enabling me for more characters. I'm terrible at being enabled. Sob.

Anyway, today I am bringing you a source of trouble that's going to have so much fun antagonising all your protagonists: Lumina, from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Lumina's goals in life include being a nuisance and pulling as many tricks and pranks as possible. She can also pull monsters out of rifts, because that's totally her jam. Why? Eh, spoilers. She's kind of a walking spoiler in terms of why she acts like she acts, so watch out if you read her app! In general though, if you'd like me to avoid expanding on what she's thinking in tags, just leave me a note here and I'll keep that in mind.

Looking forward to playing with you all! Hopefully I'll have the time to get up an intro post during the week.

Hello again, everyone! This is Kana with, surprise surprise, character number two! Please give a warm welcome to Lady Agrias Oaks of Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, which I'll be constantly reviewing due to the intricacies of that particular installment in the IA games. It's been a while since I've broken this particular lady out, so please bear with me as I gain my bearings with her.

Agrias here is from late chapter four this time around. She's being rifted in from the moment of the explosion in the Airship Graveyard, which marks the conclusion of the game's big bad boss battle. As such, she won't exactly be in tip top shape, but we're gonna say the party healers did well enough keeping everyone on their feet for her not to be too terribly badly off. Jobwise, she'll be adjusting to a switch in class from Holy Knight to Paladin, albeit retaining her Holy Knight techniques. Otherwise, she's, uh... going to be doing a lot of adjusting in general. Or trying.

Trying is good.

I think that's it? Keep your eye out for an IC intro for her sometime over the course of the next few days. Thanks for reading and I'm looking forward to playing off you guys with my favorite lady knight!

Hey guys! This is your residential plotmod with a little hopefully helpful post. We wanted to give everyone a feel for who the npcs were running around, just in case there were any questions involved. But instead of starting with the ones you do know, we thought we'd start out with the ones you don't. Well ok the one you might, but he got the special treatment too.

Rather than beg and plead with artsy friends to make lots of pictures for iconing purposes, we used the FFXIV character generator to approximate what our npcs should look like. Please to be ignoring things that might scream Eorzea.

First up is our greatest enigma, whose name will come out in time over the course of the game. I know, I know cryptic is cryptic. However, anyone listening to the local gossip floating around the taverns and markets might hear something about a mysterious swordswoman who shows up to help kill things, then leaves. Everyone's calling that person the Shadow Sword. But is this very young fighter the same person? Time will tell.

Next is a Helgas alchemist, named Hennesis, with an apothecary in Fluorgis. (Sorry about her looking Elezen, but we swear she's not.) You might find that she is exceptionally private about herself and her life, especially her past, but otherwise is quite amiable and willing to help. She is equally skilled as a fighting alchemist as she is in administering her business, though she's typically too busy to get out and make use of her available magicks. If you're in need of a rare concoction, fall ill, or otherwise really bad off, this is the maid to see.

And our final NPC for this addition is one you might know. Or maybe heard of. The blessed son of the gods, Ajora Glabados from Final Fantasy Tactics. Except he was long dead by the time the War of the Lions began and he's alive and well at this juncture in time. We modeled him after the sprite of him from FFT that was in the game data but then never used:

Ajora will be very migratory in the game, preaching of the coming salvation and paradise, in addition to working miracles. He prophesies, he heals, he cares deeply for the people of Ivalice. The people in general adore him. With good hope your characters will too.

That's all for this edition! Be looking forward to the next where we blather about fan favorites like Larsa and Ashe.

Can't break the title trend.

Anyway- hi, everyone. I go by Silk, and I'm one of your modlies, and I help mostly with the administrative fiddling around. I'm available for contact in a variety of ways, but for character plotting purposes plurk is a good bet. I can be found over at [plurk.com profile] needslineface .

As for characters, I'll be playing Golbez of Final Fantasy IV. He's a big no-longer-evil Moonperson, for a quick summary. Despite the TAY-ish look of the icons, he's only got the first game and Dissidia as his canon. The changed look is mostly because I figure it'd be silly to go into stasis wearing tons of armor, especially since this is how he does wake up once we see him in The After Years.

I'm looking forward to playing with you all.

Heya hi all! Althea again with the second character I'll be bringing in. This lovely lady is Penelo from 3 of the Ivalice Alliance games: XII, Revenant Wings and Tactics A2. For those who haven't played the followup games to XII, Penelo's older and wiser, and so on to Al-Cid and his silver tongue. No more girlish awe at being flirted with by Balthier, but she is still the sweet but saucy nagging sidekick everyone remembers. Her canon point is "A Moment's Respite" from TA2. From there, she got whisked away to Dragonhaven where she lived for a year. So safe to say for any IA characters that she's been missing with no trace for the last three months. Missed out on that big final boss fight with Luso. Someone tell her that Vaan was kept out of trouble?

If anyone's got any questions about her game import history, happy to answer any and all questions, or they're available on her app. Other than some strange clothing on arrival, she's returning to Ivalice with one green telepathic baby dragon and two firelizards, a blue and a gold. Also returning with a year's worth of experience not hauling around trying to keep up with Vaan, had a nice life on the ground and she quite liked it. Most of it anyway. A little taste of freedom, a little bit of heartache, but overall she'll be happy to be home. She'll also be happy to heal your booboos, for the price of a sound scolding.

I'm available on plurk for plotting @ magicarp. Or you can grab me here, or PM, or yeah you get the idea.

Hey there, everybody! Some of you might remember me from Time and Tides, but for those of you who I've never had the pleasure of playing with, my name is Kana. I'll be starting off with an IA native, namely Adelle of Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift fame. She's got the benefit of following the timeline proper as opposed to being rifted in and is thus post canon. The most major change for her is a switch from Heritor class to good, old reliable Thief with her Heritor abilities retained, which isn't at all a big change for her considering Thief was her first, anyway.

So, what's she been up to? Well, she's been keeping herself pretty busy what with all the new friends she made during her time with Clan Gully over the course of TA2, not to mention the clan itself, hunting, shopping, and socialzing. Speaking of Clan Gully, she's currently functioning as its de facto leader in the wake of Cid's disappearance three weeks before game start, so if you're looking to join up, give her a shout... if she doesn't give you one first. She'll be out and about and sticking her nose all up in this grimoire business and subsequently yours if ya've got one, so she won't be hard to find, nevermind to spot what with her usual apparel.

I'm super excited to be here and for the opportunity to play with you all again in such a wonderful setting. If you need or want to get ahold of me for plotting fun times or just to chat, you can find me at dessertune or on plurk at c_anon. I promise I don't bite!

Hello everyone! Lins here, and I'm bursting right out of the gate with three characters because go big or go home.

The first is Yuna from FFX/X-2 @ [personal profile] spherehunting! Her canon point is post X-2, after her return to Besaid. I haven't had a chance to play Last Mission yet, but I may canon update her eventually. Her class is White Mage, and she regains her previous ability to Summon as well as use her pistols. She's absolutely going to be restarting the Gullwings as a Clan here on Ivalice, so everyone should totally join!

Second, I have Lightning Farron from FFXIII @ [personal profile] fulminous! Her canon point is just before fighting Orphan aka the Final Boss of the game. She probably won't get canon updated, eventually. Her class is Red Mage, and she, too, has the ability to Summon, although it's just her pony Odin in that case. She also has a gunblade that's way cooler than Squall's. Lightning will be looking to join a clan so she can participate in Hunts and try to get herself home.

Last, but absolutely not least, is Tifa Lockhart from FFVII Compilation @ [personal profile] kaiserknuckle! Her canon point is after the events of Advent Children Complete, and she may get updated to Dissidia at some point as well! Her class is White Monk, and the only special ability she really brings to the table is bitch slapping bimbos off giant cannons. Tifa will be opening the 7th Heaven in Dalmasca, and will welcome Clans from all over Ivalice to hang out and get Hunt info.

I'm really excited to be here, and look forward to playing with everyone!

Hi everyone! I want to extend a huge welcome to all who have apped in so far! It makes me super happy.

I'm Manda, one of your mods [who coded everything in such a short time to get this all to you so we could open in a week], who is very excited to bring in two characters.

The first is Marlene Wallace, of Final Fantasy VII fame. You know her as the adorable daughter of Barret and the adopted daughter of Tifa and Cloud. You know she runs everything anyway. Her technical canon pull point is from the end of Dirge of Cerberus, but she is also being pulled in from her previous game, Time and Tides. Special note about Marlene! She ended up inheriting the powers of the Sorceress Ultimecia when she died, so now this little one has sorceress powers. She spent nearly 3 years in that game, and has spent seceral years after it there, so she is currently 12. What is this. She might recognize a few of you guys, but don't mind her.

The second is this strapping knight, Basch fon Ronsenburg. Except he isn't going by that currently. He's currently using his late brother's title, Judge Magister Gabranth, and aiding Lord Larsa in helping rebuild. He looks so nice cleaned up, doesn't he?

Excited to be here and to have everyone here, and if you'd like, feel free to ask any questions and add me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] earthkingdom.

Welcome everyone, new and old. We're thrilled to have you here! The game is now officially open for play. So brush up those typing skills and get ready to dive in! We have a thrilling, chilling, heart-killing plot all lined up for you, starting immediately.

We will be posting a kickoff post here in a few minutes, in a huge zone so everyone can arrive spread out and then converge where there are signs of life. Mind you, it's not required to tag into. You're more than free to start wherever you like and then move about the world as you prefer. Players who participated in the test drive meme are welcome to move forward assuming that their character has already been present in Ivalice for a few days or even a smattering of weeks.

In addition to a kickoff post, we will be posting the month's hunts, auctions, bazaar offerings and local work, so everyone has plenty to do to keep them busy. We'll also be introducing the npcs and providing you with the local gossip.

Welcome to Ivalice! Let's see how your story unfolds.
